In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 investing and financial management apps on Android in Latin America displayed varied trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

IQ Option – Trading Platform saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 218K at the end of March and dropping to around 145K by the end of June. Weekly active users also experienced a downward trend, decreasing from about 1.39M to 1.23M over the same period.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a more fluctuating pattern. Weekly downloads peaked at around 256K in early May before falling to about 62K by the end of June. Weekly active users increased significantly from around 539K at the end of March to a peak of approximately 1.05M in mid-May, stabilizing to about 888K by the end of June.

Binomo - Analytics Platform showed an upward trajectory in weekly downloads, starting at around 99K in late March, peaking at approximately 148K in late May, and settling around 68K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, growing from around 119K to a peak of approximately 184K in late May, before adjusting to about 92K by the end of June.

Flink experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 140K in late March and plummeting to around 960 by the end of June. Weekly active users also decreased, dropping from around 399K to about 263K over the same period.

BTG Pactual Investimentos had a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads peaked at around 74K in late April before settling to approximately 41K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a consistent increase from about 290K to around 470K over the quarter.
